ABOUT PROJECT
Aquaponics system is no longer new especially in the Western countries. It is the combination of aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (the soil-less growing of plants) that grows fish and plants together in one integrated system. The fish waste provides an organic food source for the plants, and the plants naturally filter the water for the fish.
10 months ago, it started as a dream project with merely a plan to build an urban farm with a mission to provide a chemical free supply to the public.
Today, we finally have a home that can house the aquaponics technology and research facilities ready to welcome the public. You able to experience first hand on the system and at the same time with the nature together with your family members. This would further harmonize your family relationship.
Now my team would like to look forward for your support to built a research campus and information centre within this wonderful compound with the aim to provide both education, technology transfer and vocational training to the public.
Following are some of the compound within that are readily available for visitors,
1）Little farm
2）Aquaponics experience room
3）Family activity centre
4）Little petting zone
5) Mini golf course
6) Jungle trekking zone

Following will be some of the key development that you would be able to pledge your support and participation in：
1) Training centre for the youth group that requires special attention
- a one stop training platform ready to groom the group of autism teens, school dropout and the marginal youth.
- provide them the opportunity to be able to contribute as well as be part of this wonderful society.
2) Knowledge transfer and as a intuitive science project (1 school 1 aquaponics system)
- It would be a CSR collaboration initiative together with the private sector to bring the aquaponics system into every school.
3) Research and develop DIY aquaponics set for home use.

鱼菜共生农耕系统在国外社群并不陌生，也有成功大量繁殖的先例。它主要结合了水生动物中的排泄物和水中的杂质，分解过滤，而后摄取当中的养分，滋养蔬菜。
十个月前，我们为着一个理念和梦想，在一片基地上开始组建和一步一步构思。
今天，经过了十个月的努力，我们终于有一个家，这还不是终点，这个家只是一个开始，一个开始让大众认识及一同学习鱼菜共生的基地。在这个家，你除了可以亲身体验鱼菜共生，你同事也能和家人一起与大自然有更进一步的接触，让家人之间的关系更融洽。
在未来的一年里，我们希望能得到你手中的支持在这基地上打造一个鱼菜共生技术研发及培训中心。宗旨除了提供大众一个无毒的生态供应，这中心也将会提供教育大众，技术研讨及转移和技职方面的培训。
以下是目前已完成及能够参与的范围
1）小小农场
2）鱼菜共生体验室
3）家庭活动中心
4）小动物活动区
5) 迷你高尔夫球区
6) 越野区

- 为特殊族群，包括自闭少年，辍学生及边缘少年提供一个学习平台，培养他们的生活技能，掌握一技之长。

2）学术知识及技术转移（实现一校一鱼菜共生系统）
- 通过与各企业的对接，以社会服务的形式在各学校打造小规模学术型鱼菜共生系统供教学用途
